I have my Gibson Eye!!!! - Jammers - 6-:16 -0-09-20

Mine is #50 built of only 350 to be produced - I like that number!

The guitar feels, not suprisingly, like an SG. Beautiful feeling neck
that goes on forever (24 frets) and the finish is impeccable. Frets
are dressed well too. The tuners feel good and the powder coated
pickups look wild! I haven't plugged it in yet, but will very soon.

I know a lot of you don't like the look of it, but that is personal
taste. the colour is a lot more "red" than orange as it appears in the
promo pics. the chrome gleams against the red. Looks great in the case
- the inside of the case is white.

...I saw one of the Jo Bros playing one on a morning show recently, for
whatever that's worth.

It did look red on TV.

I don't see what is supposedly so bad about its looks.

You know, if the thing was based on an only recently discovered photo of
Richie Blackmore (or insert famous name of your choice) playing one at
some famous concert, 90% of the people who claim it is ugly would be
falling over themselves to get one.

But it is brand new and has no built-in mojo so they can only comment on
it's looks.
