Listened to all 10 songs on that page. Most had timing issues.
Is this a one man band deal?

haha....no rap.
Yeah, Meat....I do it all myself.
Sometimes I use a click track, sometimes not.

Had a one man (kid) band that wanted recorded. Refused to do a click.
Needed the money and charged him $150 for 3 hours in the studio. Used
our drums and bass. He was good, the song was interesting and written
well but his timing blew. He had the nerve to ask me to run him
through the Antares filters to clean up his tune and quantize his
timing error. Not only that he wanted me to spend hours cutting and
pasting out his mistakes instead of doing additional takes.
Sorry to be so hypercritical, your tracks were good. It's just I
notice little inconstancies. It's a curse I swear.

Timing issues are extremely distracting, and it's a shame that it
takes away from otherwise good songs. Especially since there's no
excuse with a click track at everyone's disposal.

i liked west texas evening.
you're voice pitch is solid..not much
improvement needed there.
i suppose these are rough drafts that
would be handed out to musicians before
going into a professional studio.
some people call it "solo artist."
i chose to think of it as "staying the course."
maybe even, "keeping it on simmer."
however, i'm positive you wouldn't turn down
the opportunity to work with other musicians.
as a solo effort, it's a pleasant rough draft.
as a rough draft, it's got a lot of potential.

Yes, several of these are sketches of songs just written in the past 2
weeks.
Just me...sitting on the living room floor & recording.
Just sharing song ideas.....warts & all.
Working with a band would be great...I'm all for it.
Around here in South Jersey, it's pretty much bar band central.
Getting guys to do alt-country originals would be a stretch.

I admit to a lot of timing issues in my own songs...no question.
