Guitar virtuoso Eddie Van Halen is no longer a solo: Saturday night he
married Janie Liszewski, his girlfriend of three years. Eddie was
wearing flip-flops during the ceremony. In related (or not) news, Van
Halen (the band), are suing Nike over an alleged design similarity
between Eddie Van Halen's iconic "Frankenstein" guitar and a new line
of the sportswear company's sneakers. Come on Eddie . . . it's just a
bunch of criss-crossed lines . . . any stoned teenager with some
masking tape and spray paint can pull off that "design." Maybe Ed
needs a little extra cash to take his new bride on a honeymoon? Good
Luck on both fronts Eddie!

Maybe EVH can have his merchandise made by 10 year-old kids earning 50p
a day.

Any number of abstract artists from the 20's - 50's could sue Eddie
for ripping THEM off.
BTW, I wonder if Dutch artist Piet Mondrian ever sued the Partridge
