You've seen him a lot since Jacko story broke. Just want to let you
know I did at least one small radio show with him in my "Broadway
Danny Rose" days at WMWK-FM I think the cawl letters were for that
station.
Those were the days where small groups of us used to pile into their
studio on East 53rd Street in NYC. I think it was every Sunday morning
we used to go in there. I was really surprised to see J. Randy doing a
show like that. I thought it was for awl the 2nd raters like me. He
had a book he was promoting at the time. I don't remember what it was,
perhaps a Michael Jackson book?
Oh, this was around the late 80s and/or the early 90s. You know I have
lots of tapes and videos of those days at WNWJ with Broadway Danny
Rose. Broadway Danny Rose was actually a nice fellow by the name of
Richard Roffmann. I even gave a eulogy at Richard's funeral. I think
Joe Franklin came. I reminded everyone that Richard Roffmann was
actually the model for Broadway Danny Rose, but I think most in
attendance knew it awlready.
Need I tell you this was way before the days of the behemoth
California Jam WEREO came to light. We didn't have an Internet back
then, so we didn't know *I* had been the only one to create today's
spectacular and sensational California Jam Wereo. Nonetheless we were
still doing quite well with "the world's ONLY Original Words & Music"
Nuclear Warrior by itself. I am the only one who matters.
