Must have been for his "blue collar" work.

I am the only one who matters.

Ya know... for all the shit Canada takes, it's good to see Randy get
recognized for his contributions. On that subject Les... I might point
out to you that, if you have Sirius/XM you might wanna check out the 2
Canadian rock stations they broadcast. Can't remember the names
(ICEBERG maybe?) or numbers since my 6 year old Sirius unit's lights
have burned out, and I can't see any of the text. But the music they
offer is pretty cool stuff. Surprisingly, not a lot of EMO crap... but
a good dose of stuff a bit more progressive (Coheed and Cambria
like?), a bit of songer/songwriter stuff, and especially the emphasis
they place on female artists (calling all Portishead fans).

On the other hand they do tend to broadcst in French sometimes, and
the extent of my Franco langua is exactly 3 years of French I in H.S.
But it's worth wading through the mumbo-jumbo to get to the music. I
think you'd be impressed.

Later...

Meh. That's silly. Canadar is a good country.

Indeed.

Randy and Neil Young are both from the prairie, which is all
I have in common with 'em.

Canada isn't *that* emo. Mein youngest daughter writes spec.
fiction, and she does say an inordinate amount of spec fiction
comes from there, so...

When I did spend time in Montreal, I rather liked the way they did TV
and radio up there. It wasn't quite so ... O'REILLY SMASH!!!! AAAAARGH!
