Check this one out! CL - SotR - 6-:17 -0-09-20

I called the guy if is was a misprint. He said no. I asked "and it's a
real Fender?". He said "it say's Fender on it". I asked if it said Squire or
Bullet and he said no.
Unfortunately he is 30 miles away and a guy is coming up from Santa
Barbara right now to look at it. That's about 200 mile round trip for the
guy and I don't want to snake it out from under him if he's driving all that
way. And if he drives all that way and doesn't buy it for $50 bucks, what
does that tell you?
And besides I don't really want another Tele (already have a sweet one).
But for that price what the heck. Even if it has problems I have a bunch of
spare Tele parts on hand.
Have to wonder though. I might check back since I will be in that town
on Friday anyway.

Just to tell you what the deal was. A guy offered a Black/maple Tele for
$50. In the pic it looked like new. And he said he bought it recently brand
new. Didn't ask why it was so cheap, should have.

That's damned funny, Jim. It must be a syndrome, I usually dip out as
well. ;-)
That'd be a great band name, "Caller number 2".
